Job Description: Intern, Retail Marketing, APAC
This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of Disney Consumer Products (DCP) in the Asia Pacific region. You will be working directly with the regional marketing team, supporting the development and execution of retail marketing campaigns, including eCommerce initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Campaign Development: Collaborate with managers to create strategic marketing plans and campaigns for the APAC market. Manage the entire campaign process from concept development to pitching and asset creation.
• Asset Creation: Work closely with the creative team and external agencies to develop high-quality retail marketing materials. This may include design layouts, PowerPoint/Keynote presentations, merchandise mockups, event layouts, online content, and marketing collateral.
• Campaign Ideation: Generate innovative marketing ideas that align with business objectives and resonate with Gen Z audiences.
• Collaboration and Communication: Consolidate APAC retail marketing updates for the global team. Compile post-campaign decks for all APAC markets. Write compelling copy for social media, marketing proposals, and other marketing materials.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date on the latest marketing trends in design, eCommerce, digital marketing, consumer products, and brand experiences.
• Administrative Support: Assist the marketing team with daily administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
• Strong understanding of basic marketing principles
• Passionate about the Disney brand portfolio and brand-related activities
• Enthusiasm for creating marketing campaigns for Gen Z audiences
• Strong interest in the marketing industry and its best practices
• Knowledge of the consumer products and retail industry, including eCommerce and digital marketing
• Familiarity with major social media platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Collaborative and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote for Mac
This full-time internship opportunity is available between January and June 2025. You must be an undergraduate student who will not have graduated by the start of the internship.
