Quality Intern | Illuminate USA

The Tone:
This is an internship at Illuminate USA, located in a manufacturing environment. Illuminate USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join its Quality team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative manufacturing setting, supporting meaningful projects that directly contribute to the organization’s commitment to quality and overall success. The intern’s contributions are vital in maintaining operational efficiency and fostering continuous improvement within the department.

• Mission: This role supports the Quality team by providing hands-on assistance with departmental operations, projects, and data management to ensure organizational success within a manufacturing environment.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, AI resources, Dashboard design

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Assistance: Assist with day-to-day departmental operations and ongoing projects within the Quality team.
• Data Management: Support critical tasks involving data collection, analysis, and subsequent reporting to inform quality decisions.
• Collaborative Contribution: Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback, and collaborating on cross-functional initiatives to achieve shared goals.
• Documentation & Research: Assist in the development and maintenance of essential departmental materials, tools, or documentation, and conduct research and benchmarking activities as needed.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks, and help identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Business, IT, Engineering, Communications, or Human Resources.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities; excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, AI resources, and Dashboard design.
• Bonus: Prior internship or project-based experience is a plus.
