INTERN – Public Relations
Description of Duties:
As a Public Relations Intern, you will be actively involved in various projects and gain valuable hands-on experience working with a leading company in the entertainment industry. You will:
• Work with Nintendo’s Public Relations team: Contributing to generating positive coverage around the Nintendo brand and its products, focusing on highly visible news beats, industry events, and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to the creation of press materials: Supporting the team in brainstorming, providing creative input on campaign tactics, and shadowing or supporting event logistics.
• Conduct research projects: Analyzing the evolution of the gaming media landscape, providing key insights and a fresh perspective on key trends and changes that can be applied to Nintendo’s public relations strategies.
• Collaborate with the Communications team and agency partners: Gaining experience integrating PR with influencer, celebrity, and social media marketing around Nintendo products.
Summary of Requirements:
• 3.0+ GPA
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program: Graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026
• Pursuing a degree in Public Relations or Communications: Optional emphasis or minor in Marketing, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
• Knowledge of social media and influencer marketing (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Understanding of OneDrive & SharePoint (a plus)
• Understanding of Nintendo’s products (a plus)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the 10-week summer internship (June – September)
Location:
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and is not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base pay range of $30 per hour
• Paid sick and safe time

Note: Interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k) due to the limited duration of the internship.
