Intern – IT Analyst / Project Coordinator, Year-Round | Continental

The Tone:
This is a year-round internship at Continental, located in Fort Mill, SC, with a hybrid work model. Continental is a leading tire manufacturer founded in 1871, reporting €19.7 billion in sales in 2025 and employing approximately 78,000 people across 54 countries. This role offers the opportunity to support a large, global project within Continental Tires, ensuring high-quality project deliverables through testing, structured issue management, and clear documentation while gaining hands-on experience in an international project environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
Quality Assurance: Conduct functional and regression testing activities, meticulously executing test cases and documenting results to identify, track, and validate defects.
Issue Management: Create, update, and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) tickets with clear descriptions, ensuring proper categorization, prioritization, and follow-up for issue resolution.
Documentation: Develop, maintain, and enhance project documentation in Confluence, ensuring it is clear, structured, and up to date to support knowledge sharing across teams.
Communication: Actively participate in team meetings and status updates, communicating effectively with international teams and stakeholders, and proactively raising risks or blockers.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues, fostering a collaborative environment within a multicultural team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a US accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 12 months remaining in studies and a minimum Junior standing. A GPA of 2.8 or higher must be maintained.
• Experience: Able to dedicate 12 months to this internship, working a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours. Must have a strong interest in software development processes, testing, and project support.
• Skills: Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely in an international environment; an independent working style with the ability to take ownership of tasks, manage priorities, and demonstrate a proactive mindset with attention to detail; strong team spirit, exhibiting a collaborative attitude, willingness to support others, and openness to feedback in a multicultural setting.
• Bonus: Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence.
