Intern, Pricing & Contracts (Summer Internship Program)

The Internship Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Position Summary

In this position, the individual will work closely with our pricing & contract team to learn and understand the data available within the generics pharmaceuticals industry and how that data is used to inform and make decisions. While working with us, this individual will utilize available data assets and evaluate tools to create and deliver insights across the team.

Key Responsibilities

The Intern will gain exposure to the Generics Pharmaceutical Industry by:

• Working with the pricing & contracts team, commercial operations, and national sales team to understand the process and inputs for developing pricing, offers, and strategy.
• Leveraging industry data sources to evaluate changes in market conditions and pricing trends.
• Participating in strategic discussions assessing & evaluating new business opportunities.
• Participating in regular team meetings.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Must be going into at least the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree program related to Business, Finance, Data Science, or Analytics.
• An interest in the Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare industry.
• Experience with MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to operate independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail & processes.
• Has acquired skills/experiences in data analysis.

Reporting & Relationships

This role will report into the Director of Pricing & Contracts. The intern will interact with other team members and cross-functionally as needed.
