Job Description, Detailed

This is an exciting Internship opportunity available at DHL, specifically for an Intern of NOEP Data Analytics. This role is a part of the Americas Network Operations Efficiency Platform (NOEP) team.

The NOEP Data Analytics intern will play a crucial role in analyzing and reporting critical data related to Ground Operations across the Americas Region. Key responsibilities for this position include developing and maintaining the team’s data pipeline and actively supporting new initiatives within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Analysis:
• Cleanse, analyze, and report on various datasets within the company.
• Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Maintain and improve the area’s data pipeline.
Interpretation & Visualization:
• Interpret and visualize analytical results effectively for business partners and other non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Model Development & Prototyping:
• Develop statistical and/or optimization models to address business needs.
• Create solution prototypes for business users to experiment with and evaluate.
Innovation & Data-Driven Culture:
• Identify new use cases for the application of advanced analytics.
• Facilitate and promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
• Support innovation and AI initiatives by reviewing, optimizing, and developing reports, scripts, and models.
Accuracy & Reproducibility:
• Produce accurate outcomes on all analytics tasks, ensuring the reproducibility and precision of results.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Technical Proficiency:
• Ability to code; notions of SQL and Python are highly desirable.
• Experience in using standard analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI / Tableau, SSIS, Power Platform / Power Apps, and Excel.
Interpersonal & Work Ethic:
• Comfortable supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment.
• Energetic team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Capable of producing creative analytical solutions based on stakeholder requirements.

Availability: Must be available to perform the internship for a period of at least 6 months.

Compensation: The compensation for this internship is $32.00 per hour.

Location: This internship is onsite and requires the intern to be willing to relocate to Plantation, FL.
