Internship Type: 2026 Paid Summer Internship

Duration: Mid June – Mid August

Location & Eligibility:

  • This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance.
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • National Bank of Arizona’s Internship and Banker Development Program positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

Internship Responsibilities & Exposure:

The intern will work on or be exposed to a variety of marketing initiatives, including:

  • Content Creation & Editing: Writing and/or editing copy for various print and electronic publications, including press releases, media stories, and brochures.
  • Digital Content Marketing: Creating engaging content for social media channels, such as writing blog posts and Instagram Reels for a general audience.
  • Employer Branding: Supporting initiatives to promote the internship program and other employee benefits on LinkedIn.
  • Video Production: Assisting with in-house video production tasks.
  • Campaign Execution: Supporting the execution of various marketing campaigns.
  • Strategy & Planning: Attending marketing strategy sessions to gain insight into planning processes.
  • Event Support: Assisting with on-site event planning and Zions Bank sponsorship activities.
  • Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned to support the marketing department.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or another related field.
  • Writing & Communication Skills: Basic knowledge of and practical experience in writing and communications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with people, demonstrating good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Verbal & Written Expression: Ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and concisely in both written and oral form.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of standard computer software programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
