Job Description: Intern Integrated Program Planner (2024-2025)
Location: At a facility requiring special access (US Citizenship required, government security clearance needed)
Role:
As an Intern Integrated Program Planner, you’ll be actively involved in supporting various projects within Lockheed Martin Space. Your responsibilities will include:
• Attending Integrated Planning Meetings: Participate in meetings to gain insights and understanding of projects in progress.
• Schedule Development & Management: Assist in building logical, dependency-linked schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Health Metrics Collection and Assignment: Gather and analyze project health metrics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• PSMS Development: Create Program Schedule Management System (PSMS) documents for new projects.
• PSMS Conversion: Assist in converting existing PSMSs from one scheduling software to another, ensuring seamless transition and data integrity.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field from an Accredited University.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and strong calendar management abilities.
Desired Skills:
• Planning Tool Experience: Knowledge of planning tools such as MS Project, Open Plan, Primevera, or similar software.
• Planning & Project Management Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of common planning practices and Project Management best practices.
• Communication Skills: Possesses effective communication skills for interacting with team members and Navy customers.
