About the Role:

Join our market-leading Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services (IAAS) practice, which serves all segments of the property/casualty and life/health insurance industries. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Client Engagement teams, engaging in a diverse range of actuarial tasks. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals ready to tackle complex problems and deliver meaningful business insights within the industry.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing financial modelling and loss reserving.
• Assisting with financial and regulatory reporting.
• Contributing to product development and pricing analysis.
• Supporting litigation support and customer analytics projects.
• Engaging in rate setting and other various consulting projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an actuarial science, finance, or mathematics related field, supported by a strong academic record.
• Strong preference for candidates that have at least 2 actuarial exams passed.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective interactions with team members and clients.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Relevant prior internship experience in the actuarial field.
• Access to reliable transportation to/from the office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride-share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
