• Job Title: Intern, Houston Dynamo & Dash Soccer Team
• Location: Houston, TX 77003
• Department: Administration (comprising Event Services, Integrated Marketing & Fan Engagement, Video Production, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Ticketing and Membership Sales)
• Reports To: Department Managers

Overview:
The Houston Dynamo Soccer Team is looking for motivated and enthusiastic interns to provide support across various administrative functions within their organization. This is a paid internship program designed to offer unique exposure within one of several key departments: Event Services, Integrated Marketing & Fan Engagement, Video Production, Social Media, Digital Marketing, or Ticketing and Membership Sales. The successful intern will be involved in daily operations, work collaboratively with department leads, and contribute to projects vital for the team’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities For Each Department:

• Event Services: Responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of game days and special events, with a focus on ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for fans.
• Integrated Marketing & Fan Engagement: Interns will help in the creation of marketing campaigns and interactive fan experiences aimed at generating excitement and fostering team loyalty.
• Video Production: Duties involve contributing to the production of creative video content, which will be used to tell the team’s story and connect with its fan base.
• Social Media: This role entails assisting in the management of the team’s social media channels, including content creation, fan engagement, and keeping followers informed.
• Digital Marketing: Support will be provided for online marketing efforts such as email campaigns, website updates, and digital advertisements, all geared towards reaching and expanding the team’s fan base.
• Ticketing and Membership Sales: Interns will collaborate with the sales team to promote ticket packages and assist in creating excellent experiences for season members and general fans.

Qualifications:

• Current Student: Must be currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities are required, along with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
• Teamwork & Independence: The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is required.
• Passion: A passion for soccer and sports management is considered a plus.
• Experience: Prior internship or volunteer experience in a sports or administrative setting is also a plus.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $10/hour
