Job Description
Xylem is seeking an Intern to support the execution of their global social impact campaign through Xylem’s corporate social responsibility program, Xylem Watermark. This internship will focus on the development of campaign messaging and materials, coordination of events around the globe, and collection of impact stories. The intern will play a critical role in the success of this important global initiative and will engage directly with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Involved in project management of the campaign, including monitoring a timeline and assigning tasks to multiple parties.
• Development of campaign messaging and materials (e.g., slides for webinars, social media advertisements, internal and external emails).
• Coordination of virtual and in-person events.
• Play a critical role in the success of this impactful global initiative and will engage directly with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders including utilities, channel partners, suppliers and NGOs.
Qualifications
• College graduate or student with expected graduation by Spring 2025 or earlier.
• Degree focus or previous experience in communications, marketing, sustainability, environmental sciences, engineering or similar area.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop creative and engaging communications materials.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, time management.
• Ability to collaborate and work well with a global network of colleagues.
• Previous work leading a volunteer campaign highly preferred.
Internship Details
• 16-20 week period.
• Starts in November 2024 and extends until April 2025.
• 20 hours a week.
• Eastern Time Zone.
• Flexibility based on class schedules.
• Full remote project, with opportunity to visit a Xylem site in person if feasible.
• hourly rate: $24.
• Salary Range: $39,500.00 – $63,000.00.
