Global Employer Services Internship at Deloitte
This internship program offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting and rewarding field of global employer services tax.
What you will do:
• Work with diverse teams to assist clients in making sound staffing and operational decisions on a global scale.
• Collaborate with the tax team using planning, technology, and development strategies to deliver tax and cost-efficient programs.
• Interact with multiple clients, gaining exposure to various organizations and understanding how to help clients make strategic talent management decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Prioritize tasks.
• Manage multiple assignments in team environments both in-person and virtually.
• Apply problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Focus:
• Global Employer Services tax consultants work with multinational clients to develop tax-aligned compensation and benefits programs addressing international and domestic needs.
• Consultants utilize global compensation and benefits backgrounds to streamline business operations, manage scalability, risks, and costs of programs.
• The team offers a full range of services, guiding clients through processes, technologies, and strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, human resources, international business, finance, or other liberal arts majors.
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0).
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
• Start date for this position will be in Summer 2025.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.2 or higher).
• Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Technology-related coursework highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, consultative, quantitative, and project management skills.
• Strong executive presence, excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills with an aptitude for working as part of a global team.
Wage Range:
The wage range for this role takes into account factors like skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographical differentials associated with the location where the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $48.
