This is an onsite internship at Moog Inc., specifically within the Military Aircraft Group’s Finance team, located in Elma, NY. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Onsite – Elma, NY
• Pay: $23–$31 hourly
• Team: Finance team within the Military Aircraft Group, reporting to Manager, Sr. Finance & Analysis
• Mission: Contribute to the preparation and execution of key Finance and Accounting tasks for Moog.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Task Execution: Contribute actively to the preparation and execution of various essential Finance and Accounting tasks across the department.
• Technical Support Provision: Provide necessary technical assistance and support to Moog’s Finance and Accounting teams for ongoing operations and projects.
• Financial Reporting and Processes: Participate directly in month-end reporting cycles and processes, including the meticulous preparation of various financial schedules.
• Financial Research and Project Support: Conduct thorough research on diverse financial topics and actively support specific financial projects based on the intern’s educational discipline.
• Process and Strategy Input: Offer valuable input and perspectives on project processes, strategic approaches, and their effective execution within a multidisciplinary team.
• Professional Representation: Represent Moog consistently in a manner that upholds its established technical and professional reputation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an Accounting Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university.
• Experience: Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, with exact departmental GPA requirements to be specified; requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Skills: Demonstrate a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bonus: Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
