Job Description:

Position: Internship (Field Engineer/Office Engineer)
Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on project location, plus housing or housing allowance.
Goal: To provide interns with an understanding of the construction process and to assist Field Engineers and Office Engineers in field and materials management.
Opportunity: The internship program aims to evaluate the potential for a long-term career with Hensel Phelps after graduation.

Essential Duties:

• Subcontractor Management.
• Submittal review.
• RFI development.
• Layout / surveying.
• Daily reports.
• Quality control and support of our safety plan.

Position Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel-based templates), Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.
• Preferred candidates are pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction Management.
