About the Role
MILITARY TIMES is seeking talented individuals for its 2023 internship program. We are looking for motivated students and recent graduates eager to contribute to daily military coverage. This program offers a hands-on experience, allowing you to develop essential journalism skills within a leading news environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our news team to support daily coverage of the military.
- Report and write assigned stories, which will be published on our sites with your byline.
- Support larger team-reporting projects, contributing to significant journalistic endeavors.
- Opportunities to collaborate with our video team, gaining experience in multimedia storytelling.
- Assist with our social media efforts, helping to amplify our content and engage with our audience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Open to students and recent graduates.
- Some prior experience in writing and reporting is essential.
- Graphic design and video editing skills are helpful, though not required.
