EA RESIG (Real Estate Systems Implementation Group) is a boutique fund advisory firm within EisnerAmper, specializing in providing individualized services tailored to the needs of real estate funds. EA RESIG focuses on removing the burden of staffing, maintaining, and managing an in-house accounting department, enabling fund managers to concentrate on executing their investment strategies.
Job Description: Intern, EA RESIG
This internship is an opportunity to join the EisnerAmper RESIG group and contribute to a world-class team of accounting professionals. The intern will assist in providing a diverse suite of fund management services to real estate clients.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute toward a team covering one or more client relationships.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including:
• Balance Sheet
• Statement of Investments
• Statement of Operations
• Statement of Cash Flows
• Notes to Financial Statements
• Prepare general ledger and work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including:
• Capital activity
• Investment activity
• Income and expense accruals
• Prepare Partner Capital reports including Partner P&L
• Prepare and calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations.
• Calculate capital call and distribution notices, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices.
• Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts.
• Calculate quarter-end final and estimated NAVs.
• Support the year-end audit process in collaboration with the team, client, and auditors.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Accounting major or related major.
• Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Preferred:
• 0-2 years recent accounting experience.
• Final Graduation of December 2025-September 2026
• Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
