GE Vernova, Grid Solutions develops digital solutions as part of its broad portfolio to efficiently manage a global electrical grid undergoing rapid transformation (energy transition), with increasingly stringent constraints on grid stability, environmental compliance, and cost.
The digital center of excellence for GE’s EHV/HV power grid solutions is located in Casablanca. It develops and provides digital solutions that protect and control critical high-voltage substation equipment, and consequently, the grids of today and tomorrow.

As part of the digital COE team, the intern will participate in the development of technical solutions on projects aimed at developing new low-carbon interruption chambers.
Within the framework of the development of new digital solutions within the Digital Center of Excellence for Monitoring High Voltage Equipment (circuit breakers/disconnectors/power transformers), the proposed internship topics will focus on:
• Development of an insulating gas monitoring simulator on high-voltage electrical interruption devices (Circuit Breakers/Disconnectors).
• Development of an application for analyzing and filtering transient current/voltage regimes during High-voltage Circuit Breaker operations, within the framework of CSD 100 (Controlled Switching Devices).
• Development of a simulator of concentrations of various gases dissolved in insulating oil of power transformers.
The intern(s) will be trained during the first period of the mission in the environment of high-voltage switchgear, HMIs/IEDs.
He/She may also be required to contribute to other related subjects in relation to the needs of the project.
He/She may also be required to perform programming related to the internship topic on IEDs.
