Job Description: Intern, Design Engineering

This is a summer 2025 internship within Moog’s Military Aircraft Group, specifically the Electronics Product Design team. The position is onsite in East Aurora, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key electronics product design engineering tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Work experience may involve electrical/mechanical design, circuit/multi-physics analysis, and/or FPGA/MATLAB/embedded software development and testing (depending on the student’s background).
• Experience with Cadence Capture/PCB/SI, Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB, VHDL, C, or C++ is considered advantageous.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Work as a multidisciplinary team member.
• Represent Moog professionally.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an accredited university’s Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (exact requirement will be specified by the department).
• Ability to relocate to East Aurora, NY for the internship duration.
• Professional disposition, effective communication skills, strong desire to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team environment are expected.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $21.00–$29.00 hourly (Buffalo, NY). This is a base salary range; actual salary depends on factors like location, experience, and performance.
