Description
This internship offers a hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals across diverse sectors. You’ll gain valuable experience building professional skills through various project experiences. The focus of your work will depend on your office placement and business needs.
Potential Project Areas:
• Accounting & Internal Controls: Support clients in meeting regulatory and attestation requirements by advancing transparency, relevance, and quality of financial information. You’ll work with finance leaders to solve complex accounting and reporting issues using digital technologies.
• Regulatory & Forensic Investigations: Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting facts for investigations or litigation. Help clients manage and respond to internal and external investigations, regulatory concerns, and legal challenges.
• Strategic Risk: Assist clients in embracing their most strategic risks, providing a platform for advisory services that enable senior executives to plan, assess, manage, and respond to brand and reputational, financial, and catastrophic risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to quickly research and collect data from unique sources
• Ability to synthesize data and convey information effectively
Currently pursuings:
Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related business field. A concentration in management information systems, business analytics, or other business technology related areas is a plus.
• Strong academic track record (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• At least 18 years of age
• Must live within a commutable distance to the assigned office
Preferred:
• Strong academic track record (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2)
• Meets minimum requirements for CPA eligibility or other relevant certifications before beginning full-time employment
• Relevant work experience in a professional environment (e.g., internships, summer positions)
Compensation:
The wage range is estimated to be $$36.06 to $41.35 per hour.
