Job Description: Intern – Community/Government Affairs

This 10-14 week summer internship offers real-world experience in the daily operations of a rapidly growing oil and gas company. The role focuses on building and maintaining positive relationships between Diversified Energy and the communities where it operates.

Key Responsibilities:

Building Relationships: Engaging with community members, stakeholders, and organizations to understand their needs and foster long-term positive relationships.
Event Planning & Organization: Assisting in the coordination of community events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up. This involves ensuring smooth event execution and handling necessary preparations.
Media Creation: Supporting the development of various media content (social media posts, newsletters, blogs, video content) to promote events, highlight community initiatives, and raise awareness of the organization’s community work.

This internship provides hands-on experience in community engagement, event coordination, and media creation – essential skills for building strong organizational-community relationships.

Position Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program.
Self-starter with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic.
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
