• Mission: To assist construction professionals in either field engineering/management or estimating/office engineering, gaining practical experience and contributing to project success.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite programs

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Assist with project layout, shop drawing submittals, and scheduling to manage various aspects of construction work.
• Site Monitoring: Complete site inspections to produce daily reports on work progress and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Directly interact with field management, subcontractors, and owners to learn about safety measures, quality specifications, job costs, and scope of work.
• Cost Estimation: Partner with the bid team to develop detailed cost estimates from contract documents and plans, utilizing specialized software for quantity takeoffs.
• Financial Support: Assist in preparing subcontracts and purchase orders, gathering quantity data for performance reports, and evaluating production costs against budgeted performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a college or university degree program, with an early career interest in the Construction Industry.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
