Job Description: Intern – Cash Handling Compliance
This internship will support Chipotle restaurants by focusing on cash handling best practices and compliance. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring financial integrity and security within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct remote policy audits of restaurants to verify adherence to cash handling procedures. This includes generating reports on findings for operational teams.
• Investigate and document instances of suspected cash theft, fraud, and other forms of financial loss. Communicate findings to support further investigations as needed.
• Analyze Point of Sale (POS) data to identify potentially risky transactions requiring further investigation.
• Collect evidence, document findings, and communicate results to support thorough investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using a PC and MS Office Suite software.
• Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience auditing and reviewing data for accuracy.
Compensation:
The estimated base pay range is $18.75–$23.81 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual cash bonuses and equity awards based on performance. Chipotle offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, sick leave, vacation time, and more.
