• Mission: This intern will gain practical experience in audit by working on client engagements, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and assisting with audit reporting.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Testing: Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Data Analysis: Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Report Drafting: Help to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility, demonstrating satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework, and maintaining a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required, but candidates must possess solid technical accounting knowledge. Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office, and the ability to attend off-site meetings and events in person, are essential.
• Skills: Effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving attitude, willingness to take initiative, and close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
