What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Perform all aspects of assigned projects, applying knowledge gained to future work.
• Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries and requests.
• Company Understanding: Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer’s specialized services.
• Goal Attainment: Strive to achieve goals established by your direct supervisors.
• Computer Proficiency: Gain proficiency in administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level intern pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Active participation in student organizations and prior work experience is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; robust verbal and written communication skills; well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple deadlines; proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25; proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite.
