Title: Intern

Description:
This is an internship position designed for individuals looking for a job that can grow into a lifelong career within Lactalis USA. The Intern will work for a one-year duration and can be part-time while in school.

Reporting Structure:
The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Brand Manager–President Brand.

Core Responsibilities:
The Intern will support the Brand Manager in various key areas, operating in a fast-paced environment that demands high collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Brand Management: Assisting in the ongoing management, monitoring, and development of the Président brand of dairy products.
• Product Development: Managing the new product development process.
• Data Management & Analysis: Managing several databases, requiring a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Conducting research and reporting on dairy market trends utilizing various data analytics tools, with the goal of drawing insightful conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Financial Support: Supporting the Brand Manager in the development and tracking of annual marketing budgets.
• Performance Evaluation: Assisting in tracking and analyzing sales and marketing programs to evaluate their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Marketing Material Development: Assisting with the development of marketing material, including brief writing and agency management.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicating results and maintaining a disciplined approach to activity and attitude. Maintaining effective and cooperative relationships with members of Sales & Marketing teams and other company personnel.
• Compliance: Complying with all Lactalis American Group policies, including compliance as explained by Legal and Human Resources.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience:
• Recently graduated or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge in Sales and Project Management to assist in sales processes.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Computer Skills: Very strong computer skills, comfortable using Excel and Word at a high proficiency level.

Compensation:
The salary for this internship position is $19-$21 per hour.
