Job Description: DCCC Internship Program
The DCCC Internship Program is designed to offer substantial exposure to practical, campaign-style politics at a national level, providing interns with an opportunity to contribute to House Democratic campaigns and learn the inner workings of a national political committee.
Key Details of the Internship:
• Job Title: Intern
• Reports To: Operations Department and Department Intern Coordinator
• Department: Interns are placed in varying departments based on their interests, availability, and skill sets.
• Work Location: In-Office at the Washington, DC Headquarters.
• Job Type: Temporary, available as both Full-Time and Part-Time.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: No.
• Program Dates (Fall 2025):
• Begins: Monday, September 15, 2025
• Ends: Friday, November 21st, 2025
• Commitment: Requires at least 20 hours per week in person for the duration of the internship.
• Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET.
Responsibilities may include:
• Performing department-specific tasks, such as staffing events, conducting research, making Capitol Hill runs, and assisting with various short- and long-term projects.
• Assisting the Operations team by providing excellent customer service and maintaining shared spaces.
• Supporting other departments as needed, under the direction of a department supervisor or the Operations team.
Requirements for Applicants:
• Must be at least 18 years old on or before the first day of the internship.
• Possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate the capacity to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Show a strong commitment to helping Democrats regain and protect the House majority.
• Have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Exhibit multicultural competence, including the awareness, knowledge, and skills necessary to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Applicants must include their top three departments of interest. (More information on departments can be found at dccc.org/internships). While preferences are considered, placement is not guaranteed.
• Applicants must confirm their commitment to being in Washington, DC during the internship term.
• The cover letter should also include any relevant information regarding the applicant’s availability and arrangements.
