Job Description (Intern Position)
Compensation:
The position offers compensation ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with the exact rate depending on the project location. Additionally, interns will receive housing or a housing allowance.

Position Overview:
The primary goals for interns are to gain a comprehensive understanding of the construction process and to assist Field Engineers and Office Engineers in field and materials management. The internship program serves as an extended opportunity for both the intern and Hensel Phelps to evaluate if there is a good fit for a long and successful career with the company after graduation.
Position Qualifications:
Candidates for this internship are expected to possess:
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer software, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel-based templates), Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.
• Candidates are preferred to be pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Essential Duties:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to construction project management, including:
• Subcontractor Management.
• Submittal review skills.
• RFI (Request for Information) development.
• Layout / surveying.
• Daily reports.
• Quality control and support of Hensel Phelps’s safety plan.
