Job Description:

This internship is designed to develop student athletes in discerning their calling and career while introducing them to various aspects of ministry through FCA.

• Intern Role: Collegiate volunteers engaging in a learning and developmental ministry experience through FCA during a summer or semester.
• Compensation: Interns are not employees and do not receive hourly wages or payment for their work. A nominal stipend may be provided to cover living expenses.
• Internship Focus: Developing the intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through training and experience.

Ministerial Duties (Key Responsibilities):

These duties are considered critical to FCA’s mission and are to be performed with a heart surrendered to serving God.

• Christian Community Statement: Agree with and abide by FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Spiritual Rhythm: Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study.
• Spiritual Leadership: Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
• Church Involvement: Connect to and participate in a local church.
• Biblical Conduct: Conduct oneself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs at all times.
