Job Description:
This internship within the Digital Center of Excellence (COE) team involves contributing to the technical development of projects focused on creating new, low-carbon circuit breaker chambers.
The intern will participate in developing new digital solutions for monitoring high-voltage equipment (circuit breakers/disconnectors/power transformers) at the Digital COE. The proposed internship topics include:
• Development of a Gas Insulated Monitoring Simulator for high-voltage electrical switchgear (Circuit Breakers/Disconnectors).
• Development of an application for analyzing and filtering transient current/voltage regimes during high-voltage circuit breaker operations, within the framework of CSD 100 (Controlled Switching Devices).
• Development of a simulator for concentrations of various dissolved gases in insulating oil of power transformers.
During the initial phase of the internship, the intern will receive training on high-voltage equipment environments, HMIs/IEDs. They may also contribute to other related projects based on the project’s needs and potentially perform programming tasks on IEDs relevant to the internship topic.
