About Company:

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a ministry organization focused on serving student athletes and introducing them to faith-based principles.

Job Description:

This is an internship opportunity designed for student athletes to explore their calling and career path while gaining exposure to various aspects of ministry within FCA. This is a volunteer role. Interns are not considered employees and will not receive hourly or production-based compensation. A nominal stipend may be provided to cover living expenses during the internship.

Key Aspects of the Internship:

Focus on Development: The internship aims to develop the intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through training and practical experience.
Learning Experience: It provides a learning and developmental ministry experience during a summer or semester.
Varied Experiences: Internship experiences may differ depending on the location and specific FCA staff involved. Contact the associated FCA staff for specific internship details.

Ministerial Duties:

These duties are crucial to the FCA mission and the intern’s role in the ministry. All responsibilities are expected to be carried out with a focus on serving God. Interns are expected to:

Adhere to FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
Engage in daily prayer and Bible study.
Provide spiritual leadership through prayer, Bible study, worship, and example for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes.
Actively participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct themselves in accordance with biblical standards of conduct and FCA’s Christian beliefs at all times.
