• Summary: This is a paid, structured introductory course designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of the electrical distribution industry. The program involves mentoring and on-the-job training, exposing interns to various aspects of the field, including warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and counter sales. Interns will also work on special projects designed by the management team.
• Reports To: Profit Center Manager
• Essential Job Functions:
• Learning all aspects of the CED business.
• Communicating effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Must be a self-starter who can handle a heavy volume of work and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Working Conditions: The work environment varies and includes warehouse and external settings. Some activities involve lifting, sorting, standing, and possible exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.
• Compensation: $23/hourly
