Job Description:

This is a full-time Internship position.

Summary: The program provides real-world exposure to the working world, focusing on professional and career development in areas such as Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Internal Audit, Information Technology, Product, Purchasing, Imports, and HR.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Compensation:

• Hourly, non-exempt position paying $18.75 to $19.75 per hour (overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate).
• New hires usually earn between $30,000 and $39,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general clerical duties: faxing, scanning, uploading, and printing paperwork.
• Greet and direct customers in the showroom.
• Work on special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
• Research and gather information for PowerPoint presentations.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Able to multi-task.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally.
• Frequently sits and may occasionally stand or walk.
• Must occasionally lift, pull, and move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
