This is an Internship position at Forvis Mazars, designed to provide valuable experiences that will help guide students’ career paths after graduation.

Key aspects of the internship include:

Hands-on Experience: Interns will work on client engagements similar to those assigned to entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries.
Skill Development: The role allows interns to test their technical knowledge and develop their skill set by learning from experienced senior staff and management personnel.

How You Will Contribute (Responsibilities):

Tax Preparation: Preparing complex tax returns, with a strong focus on corporate income tax compliance.
Tax Planning: Developing and preparing tax projections and other tax planning strategies for clients.
Research: Utilizing research services to enhance technical knowledge and deliver valuable insights to clients.
Client Engagement: Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
Client Service: Upholding Forvis Mazars’ commitment to an unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with both internal teams and external clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
• Demonstrating solid technical accounting or finance knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (both in major and overall).

Compensation (Colorado Specific):

Salary Range: $30 USD per hour.
Total Compensation & Benefits: Includes salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Salary will be based on the individual’s experience, education, and skill set.
