Job Description (Internship):
This internship offers broad exposure to various areas within the company, depending on the intern’s field of study. These areas include:
• Design
• Engineering
• Lean manufacturing principles
• Manufacturing/Production
• Quality control
• Engineering services
• Sourcing/Materials management
What Interns Will Do:
Interns will work on projects requiring independent decision-making. Responsibilities may include:
• Developing PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress and share best practices.
• Analyzing data using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Taking on aspects of a full-time role within their chosen function (e.g., writing software code for engineering interns, performing compensation analysis for HR interns).
• Participating in early talent events, seminars, and training.
• Completing assignments requiring accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or technical degree program (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Completion of at least one full year of college (rising sophomore).
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder.
Desired Characteristics:
• At least 24 credit hours toward a bachelor’s/technical degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Material Science, related engineering, or a non-engineering field.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Experience using independent thought processes for planning, information processing, workflow maintenance, and anticipating team needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated work style.
• Ability to identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a globally diverse team.
Compensation: The estimated salary range is $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, with final offers dependent on factors such as graduation year and major.
