Internship Scope & Experience:
• Interns will work on client engagements similar to those assigned to entry-level associates.
• They will gain exposure to diverse industries and apply their technical accounting knowledge.
• Interns will collaborate with senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience and developing their skill set.

Availability & Duration:
• Internships are available in assurance, tax, or a combination of both, depending on local office needs.
• They can be part-time or full-time.
Winter semester internships typically run from early-January through April 15th.
Summer internships generally run from early-June through mid-August.

Key Responsibilities (How You Will Contribute):
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Preparing various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, or others.
• Calculating tax extension or estimate payments.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

Solid technical accounting knowledge.
Effective time management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills preferred, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications:
• Intern candidates must be working toward an accounting degree.
• Must be working toward CPA licensure eligibility.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office.
• Must be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
