About the Job:

What You’ll Do Here (Responsibilities):
• Conduct a research project utilizing the Gale Digital Scholar Lab, a digital humanities tool. This project will be submitted to the Gale Research Showcase, undergo a peer-review process, and serve as an exemplary assignment for future users.
• Develop engaging content for Gale’s blog and social media channels, highlighting fascinating information derived from Gale’s archives.
• Coordinate and facilitate an on-campus event aimed at educating students and faculty about the valuable resources provided by Gale.
• Attend weekly virtual lunch and learn sessions to acquire new skills relevant to internship activities and to network with professionals from various departments.
• Participate in virtual check-ins to receive formal feedback on performance and progress.
Skills You Will Need Here (Requirements):
• Current major in an Arts & Humanities or Social Science subject area.
• Possess creativity, leadership qualities, time management skills, and a genuine passion for history and the humanities.
• Prior experience using Gale resources is a plus, but it is not required as training will be provided.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $15.00 – $16.00 USD. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
