About the Internship
As an intern at Forvis Mazars, you will gain valuable hands-on experience that can help you determine if a career in audit, tax, or public accounting is the right path for you. You will work on client engagements similar to those assigned to entry-level associates, providing exposure to a variety of industries and an opportunity to apply your technical accounting knowledge. Interns work directly alongside senior staff and management, learning from their experience to develop essential skillsets.

Depending on the needs of the local office, internships may be available in audit, tax, or a combination of both. Internships can be part-time or full-time.
• Spring semester internships typically run from mid-January through April 15th.
• Summer internships generally run from June through mid-August.

How You Will Contribute (Key Responsibilities)
• Performing audit testing on various financial statement accounts, such as cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Collaborating with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Assisting in drafting management letter comments and contributing to the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

Eligibility & Requirements
• Candidates must be working toward an accounting degree.
• Candidates must be working toward CPA exam eligibility.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility is required upon hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation & Legal Notices (California Specific)
• California Salary Range: Pursuant to California pay transparency laws, the displayed hourly salary range for the California market is $38 USD to $40 USD.
• Salary Determination: The actual salary for this role will be based on the individual’s experience, education, and skillset.
• Total Compensation & Benefits: The comprehensive compensation package includes salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
