About SarNam Foundation

SarNam Foundation is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations with technology-driven tools. Based in Corpus Christi, the foundation focuses its efforts on solving common community problems, specifically in the areas of mental health solutions, homelessness, and supporting vulnerable individuals, all with a strong emphasis on technology.

Internship Overview

This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing, communications, and non-profit operations. The intern will play a key role in building awareness around the foundation’s work through engaging social media content, email communications, and community outreach efforts. This opportunity is ideal for a college student or recent graduate seeking real-world experience in marketing, digital media, and non-profit administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor organization email inbox and respond to inquiries with guidance.
• Manage 2 social media accounts (content creation, posting 2–3x/week, engagement).
• Create and maintain a simple content calendar for social media.
• Assist in the development of digital and print marketing materials.
• Provide support at networking events, including planning/setup, staffing the event, and post-event clean-up.
• Provide administrative support such as organizing files, scheduling, and updating records.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled student (undergraduate or graduate) or recent grad seeking internship credit or non-profit experience.
• Background in digital marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, business, or non-profit preferred.
• Strong communicator with solid writing and/or graphic design skills.
• Able to work independently, ask questions, and complete tasks efficiently with supportive guidance.
• Positive, proactive attitude and interest in community-centered work.
• Reliable and committed to working up to 5 hours per week either in-office or supporting a networking event.

Bonus If You Have

• Familiarity with platforms like Canva, Instagram, Facebook, or scheduling tools like Later/Hootsuite.
• Experience supporting or coordinating events.
• An eye for design or storytelling.

Location: In-Office/Hybrid
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week (as needed)
Compensation: Unpaid or stipend-eligible (depending on funding/college credit)
Start Date: August 2025 (exact start date flexible)
Duration: 3 months
