### About the Role

As a Full-Time Interior Designer at Ample Designs, you will play a pivotal role in our Bengaluru East office. This on-site position demands a creative and detail-oriented professional who can expertly navigate every phase of interior design projects. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing innovative design solutions, meticulously executing project plans, and ensuring every detail aligns with our commitment to excellence.

Your responsibilities will span strategic space planning, the creation of precise construction drawings, and the discerning selection of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E). You will work closely within a collaborative team environment, ensuring that all design solutions not only meet but exceed client expectations, transforming their visions into tangible, high-quality living spaces.

### Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Design Development: Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative and aesthetically pleasing interior design projects, aligning with client requirements and Ample Designs’ quality standards.
• Space Planning & Optimization: Conduct expert space planning and create functional layout designs that optimize usability, flow, and comfort within various interior environments.
• Construction Documentation: Develop comprehensive and accurate construction drawings (working drawings) that provide clear and detailed instructions for project execution.
• FF&E Selection & Specification: Research, select, and specify appropriate Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), considering aesthetics, functionality, durability, budget, and client preferences.
• Client Collaboration: Engage effectively with clients throughout the design process, understanding their needs, presenting design concepts, and managing expectations to ensure satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with fellow designers, engineers, and project managers in an on-site environment to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Project Management Support: Contribute to the efficient management of design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all design solutions are executed to the highest quality, maintaining attention to detail across all project phases.

### Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with a robust foundation and demonstrated capabilities in:

• Expertise in Space Planning & Functional Layout Design: Proven ability to create efficient, innovative, and functional spatial arrangements that optimize usability and flow within various environments.
• Strong Grasp of Architectural & Interior Design Principles: A solid understanding of fundamental architectural concepts, design theories, aesthetics, and their practical application in interior spaces.
• Proficiency in Construction Drawings: Skilled in developing precise, detailed, and accurate construction drawings that serve as clear instructions for execution teams.
• Experience in FF&E Selection: Demonstrated experience in the meticulous selection and specification of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), considering aesthetics, functionality, budget, and client preferences.
• Exceptional Communication & Project Management Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with strong project management acumen, including organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion.
• Collaborative Team Player & Client-Centric Approach: Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a dynamic on-site team environment, as well as to build strong relationships and communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with industry-standard design software and tools, including AutoCAD for drafting, 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit), and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape) to visualize and present design concepts.
• Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior professional experience in residential or commercial interior design projects would be a significant advantage.
