Description:

As a Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, you’ll be part of a world-class team, working to shape the future of wireless technology. You’ll be involved in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software for the most complex wireless devices in the industry. This internship provides a unique opportunity to:

This internship is ideal for you if you:

• Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Are available for 11-14 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-September) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• Have 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages C, C++, or Python.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• Extensive programming experience in C/C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software design and development.
• Experience with distributed systems and networking protocols.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming.
• Familiarity with multi-core and multi-processor systems.
• Knowledge of system performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in complex software debugging.
• Knowledge of modeling concepts (e.g. discrete event simulation, polyglot programming).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. bridging, routing), especially in Linux.
• Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation within the upcoming year (December 2025 to June 2026) are preferred.
