Job Description:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of a world-class team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. You’ll contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of software for some of the most complex wireless devices in the industry.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Working directly with engineers to design and build software solutions for various Qualcomm technologies.
• Contributing to the software development life cycle, from initial design to implementation and testing.
• Leveraging your computer science or engineering background to make a direct impact on the company’s software development efforts.

Qualcomm is looking for interns who are:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Available for 11-14 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-September), with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• Have 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages C, C++, or Python.

Bonus points for:

• Extensive programming experience in C/C++.
• Knowledge of object-oriented software design and development.
• Experience with distributed systems, networking protocols, multi-threaded programming, multi-core/multi-processor systems, and system performance optimization.
• Experience in complex software debugging.
• Familiarity with modeling concepts (discrete event simulation, polyglot programming) and networking concepts (bridging, routing), especially in Linux.
