About the Job

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team in Fort Worth, Texas. You will be working as an Integration Fighter Group (IFG) and (Advance Program Development) Technical Integrator for our Contract Field Teams.

Your Mission

As a Technical Integrator, you will be the technical expert assisting the Contract Field Team Manager with day-to-day oversight of teams working in the field supporting Lockheed Martin customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing technical expertise: This involves working with contract field team plans, Technical Orders/Directives (TCTOs / TCTDs), manpower/resource requirements for aircraft maintenance production, and setting maintenance priorities.
Integrating with customers: You will advise teams on the best approach to working with LM customers.
Assisting Contractor Field Teams (CFT): You will support CFTs executing modifications at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Advising on proposals: You will provide expertise on proposal estimates and data as needed.
Engineering Liaison/Integration: You will be responsible for customer/team partner post-delivery modification integration and support, as well as post-delivery modification TCTD kit-proofing, verification, and validation.
Managing aircraft maintenance: This includes managing general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines, ensuring modifications, inspections, and repairs adhere to applicable engineering and technical data.
Ensuring compliance: You will ensure the workforce follows appropriate technical and Department of Defense (DoD) instructions.
Advising management: You will keep management informed on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems, ensuring personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Promoting safety: You will ensure good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• At least 12 years of leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience working on F-16 or F-22 aircraft platforms related to aircraft maintenance operations and modifications.
• Aircraft depot level maintenance or management experience.
• Experience manning, leading, and supporting all aspects of unit and depot level aircraft modifications.
• Extensive background in Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) implementation.
• Experience managing projects with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in researching and interpreting modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office products.

Desired Skills

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

• F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience, or experience with F-15, A-10, or F-18 aircraft.
• Understanding of USAF and/or USN maintenance practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.
• Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures.
• Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.

Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. A minimum of an Interim Secret Security Clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security clearance.

Location

This position is located in Fort Worth, Texas, with the possibility of working/traveling in various CONUS/OCONUS locations. Military Base access and a current Passport are required.
