They are currently seeking an Integrated Resource Planning Manager to lead the development of Integrated Resource Plans in Indiana. This role supports CPCN filings and other regulatory filings related to power generation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for external generation reporting/analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electric utility business with detailed knowledge of power generation resources and previous experience developing Integrated Resource Plans. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for MISO resource adequacy.
Key responsibilities include: managing and supporting the Integrated Resource Planning process, providing support for CPCN filings, managing production forecasts, overseeing internal and external reporting, managing compliance filings, providing advice and consultation, acting as a spokesperson, directing and supporting assigned employees, and managing requests to MISO.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering. A post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA or JD) is preferred. The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in power generation reporting/analysis, resource planning, and/or power generation operations. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in at least two of the following: supporting Integrated Resource Plan development, power generation operations, engineering, or compliance experience in the electric industry, regulatory submissions, direct interaction with regulatory authorities, compliance report development and filing, or utility transmission/distribution planning.
