Job Description – Institutional Sales Specialist, Cardiovascular & Metabolism

This position is based in Eugene, Oregon and requires the candidate to be located in the geography or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales quota, market share, market share growth, and other business objectives specific to the cardiovascular & metabolism market segment.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers including cardiologists and other specialists.
• Influence thought leaders to adopt and utilize company products through networking and building relationships.
• Demonstrate expertise in cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas, healthcare landscape, clinical/therapeutic, Managed Care, and customer needs.
• Utilize business analytics, marketplace data, and clinical insights to implement a compliant and efficient business plan.
• Adjust strategy and resources based on local market conditions to optimize outcomes and address competitive threats.
• Utilize technology for analyzing sales results, tracking activities, and updating customer account documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, building a network for information sharing.
• Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including healthcare compliance, expense reports, call reporting, and other assignments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Valid Driver’s License issued in one of the 50 US states
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, business to business sales, or recent transition from Active-Duty Military
• Experience in cardiovascular or thrombosis therapeutic areas preferred
• Documented sales results, including company awards or participation in management development programs are preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight/weekend travel
