Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our specialized Institutional Platform team for a dynamic 10-12 week summer program. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity for hands-on experience in the critical areas of asset and portfolio analysis, offering significant exposure to sophisticated institutional investment strategies and global financial markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Asset and Portfolio Performance Analysis: Assist in the comprehensive analysis of asset and portfolio performance, delving into essential metrics such as risk-adjusted returns, volatility, and other performance indicators to evaluate investment effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Presentation Support: Play a crucial role in preparing high-quality reports, insightful presentations, and interactive dashboards. These deliverables are vital for communicating complex financial information to internal stakeholders, aiding in clarity and decision-making.
  • Market Research and Data Gathering: Conduct thorough market research and systematically gather relevant financial data. This initiative is aimed at identifying emerging trends, potential market opportunities, and competitive intelligence to inform investment strategies.
  • Portfolio Optimization and Strategy Review: Collaborate actively with team members on challenging portfolio optimization projects and participate in the strategic review of existing investment approaches, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
  • Data Integrity Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and integrity for all financial data utilized in analysis, recognizing its foundational importance for reliable insights and sound investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Academic Pursuit: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • Academic Standing: Must be a junior at the time of application, demonstrating readiness for professional exposure.
  • GPA Requirement: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, reflecting strong academic performance.
  • Analytical Acumen: Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, which are critical for financial data handling and interpretation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Familiarity with financial modeling techniques and data visualization tools is considered a significant advantage.
  • Communication & Organization: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong organizational abilities to manage tasks and interact effectively within a professional environment.

Hourly Pay Range: $25.
