Job Description:
This is an Information Technology (IT) Intern position with CCI Mechanical, Inc. The intern will support the in-house IT department by providing technical assistance, configuring PCs and mobile devices, and maintaining shared systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, implementation of policies and procedures, and providing support to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance to personnel on hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, mobile devices, hardware, and software.
• Follow and communicate established procedures for computer maintenance.
• Provide training and support to team members on computer systems and software use.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems.
• Document procedures and solutions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Currently undertaking higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of computer systems and software.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
• Familiarity with hardware and software installation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points:
• Knowledge of network and system security concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows/Server operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Familiarity with Virtual Machines.
• Familiarity with SQL Server.
