Key Responsibilities

As an Information System / IT Intern, you will:

• Under supervision, assist in the specification, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new information system platforms and applications, adhering to established standards.
• Undertake various research tasks as directed by the Supervisor, including collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and presenting statistical data and other information gathered from diverse sources.
• Assist in improving the functionality and content of existing information system platforms and digital workflow projects.
• Provide support for on-going and planned information technology (IT) projects.
• Be involved in real, ongoing projects that the team is currently working on.
• Depending on the project phase, intern’s interest, and background, you may be assigned to research, analysis, design, development, testing, training, user support, or outreaching work.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.

Competencies And Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in the following programming languages and tools:
• PHP (Laravel)
• Python
• JavaScript
• SQL
• Git
• Skilled in using various IT tools, including but not limited to:
• Microsoft Teams / SharePoint
• PowerApps
• JIRA
• Confluence
• Knowledge in cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing structured data.
• Knowledge in developing workflow automation and service request tracking solutions would be a significant advantage.
