Job Description: Information Services & Technology (IST) Internship
Mary Kay’s IST team drives the company forward through innovative technologies. As an intern, you will contribute to the development of tools and technologies for both employees and the sales force, ultimately contributing to their success. The role offers opportunities to work with teams in Digital Analytics, Project Management, Business Analysis, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Commerce Development.
Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for delivering innovative tools and technologies to employees and the salesforce.
• You will be exposed to and contribute to cross-functional projects, gaining valuable experience across different teams.
• You will participate in professional development opportunities, including “Lunch & Learns,” mentorship programs, social and volunteer activities, and special events.
• You will gain networking opportunities with executive team members.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• A basic understanding of business requirements gathering, analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• A keen attention to detail.
Minimum qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree.
• Full-time enrollment (undergraduate) or part-time enrollment (graduate) as defined by your university.
• Minimum Sophomore status.
• Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
• Preferred degrees: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Data Science.
Summer Program Details:
• The program runs for 10 weeks, from early June to mid-August.
• All internships are paid at $20/hour.
• Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with 4-5 days required in the office.
• The program is based at Mary Kay’s Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or Manufacturing/R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX.
• Interns will be provided with necessary equipment, such as a laptop.
