Job Description:
This is a seasonal (6 months or less) Information Security Internship located in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The intern will support the Information Security team in vulnerability management, security operations, and systems integration across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management of Tenable Security Center.
• Participate in vulnerability calls with IT Operations and Infrastructure.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize security metrics and identify trends.
• Write Python scripts and develop API integrations between systems for automation and efficiency.
• Review and analyze system performance and security metrics, escalating concerns.
• Support the documentation of processes, procedures, and security policies.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of automation tools.
• Assist in internal audit or compliance review efforts.
• Review weekly system performance metrics.
• Maintains corporate security and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Working towards a 2- or 4-Year degree in a related field.
• Experience scripting or developing applications with Python, familiarity with common Python libraries.
• Experience working with REST APIs for system integration or automation.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS and basic command-line tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation (preferred).
• Exposure to containerization and automation tools such as Docker and Ansible (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn new technologies and processes.
