Job Description:

This is a Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 internship at Intel in Hillsboro, OR (though other locations may be considered). The internship focuses on information security within Intel’s IT operations and development sectors. Interns will gain hands-on experience applying their education to real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities: Interns will contribute to:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing security protocols for internal and third-party software and hardware.
• Leveraging cloud and digital innovations to enhance Intel’s security posture and business processes.
• Boosting internal productivity by troubleshooting security issues, identifying vulnerabilities, and enacting process improvements in system administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.
• 3+ months of educational or industry experience.
